Navy Pins 2nd Loss on La Salle in Razon Football
Striker Jose Alfie Caminos Scored two goals in the last 17 minutes to power Navy to a come-from-behind 2-1 win over La Salle last Sunday in the Terry Razon Copa Filipina football tournament at the Philsports pitch in Pasig City. Caminos tallied the equalizer in the 73rd on a penalty kick then capped his heroics with another goal seven minutes later to give the Seamen their first win in the tournament held in honor of the late soccer patron Terry Razon. Far Eastern University upset San Beda College, 2-0, mentored by national coach Aris Caslib no less, in the other match of the event organized by the National Capital Region Football Association. La Salle forward Paul Lustre saw an opening in the 63rd minute, volleying from 15 yards to break the ice. This galvanized Navy to action as it pressed the attack before being rewarded with Lustre's tying marker off a handball violation in the penalty area. Lustre coolly slotted in the penalty to the right of the goal. Francis Gustilo and Dennis Montialbucio scored a goal in each half as the FEU booters stunned the three-time NCAA football champions.
